Matthew Stafford rallies the Rams to force overtime against the Bills, but another special teams meltdown spoils the comeback in a heartbreaking loss.

The Buffalo Bills defeated the Los Angeles Rams 37-34 in overtime on Monday Night Football at SoFi Stadium. After Matthew Stafford led a late game-tying touchdown drive in regulation, the Rams had a chance to secure the victory in overtime following an Aaron Donald fumble recovery. However, Harrison Mevis had his game-winning 47-yard field goal attempt blocked by Buffalo's Greg Rousseau, allowing Josh Allen and the Bills to drive down and kick the winning field goal.
The defeat highlighted persistent special teams errors and discipline issues under head coach Sean McVay. Los Angeles committed 11 penalties for 84 yards, conceded a 70-yard game-opening kickoff return to Ray Davis, and allowed 121 rushing yards to Allen. Despite Stafford throwing at least three touchdown passes, Mevis missed two kicks on the night as the Rams failed to capitalize on late-game opportunities.
