Former French international champion of France with Bordeaux, Benoît Trémoulinas said he was ready to play again with the Girondins.

Former French international defender Benoît Trémoulinas has offered to come out of retirement to play for Girondins de Bordeaux in Regional 1. The 40-year-old made the announcement live on the L'Équipe channel, expressing his desire to help rebuild his former club. Trémoulinas revealed he has undergone five weeks of physical preparation and plans to join squad training for a three-week trial period.
Trémoulinas previously won Ligue 1 with Bordeaux in 2009 along with the Coupe de France in 2013 before finishing his career at Sevilla FC. His playing career originally ended due to severe knee issues, and his potential signing will depend on whether his knee holds up during the upcoming training sessions and if club management approves.
