The Dallas Stars placed forward Harrison Scott on waivers on Tuesday with the intention of assigning him to the Texas Stars in the AHL. Scott had started the 2026-27 campaign on the non-roster injured list following a preseason ailment, but he appears healthy enough to resume playing in the minor leagues.
The 26-year-old forward is in the first season of a two-year, two-way contract extension carrying an NHL cap hit of $875,000. Scott recorded 18 goals and 14 assists across 72 regular-season games with Texas during his rookie campaign last year.
