Diego Moreira could reportedly become AC Milan's second-most expensive signing ever, with his transfer fee potentially reaching up to €67.8M. Milan paid a €51M base fee to permanent transfer partner RC Strasbourg for the 22-year-old Belgian winger, with potential add-ons capped at €14.3M based on team success, appearances, and individual milestones.
The agreed add-ons include bonuses for goal contributions, starting appearances, contract renewals, and Champions League qualification or a Scudetto title. RC Strasbourg may also receive a percentage of any future resale. The Cult of Calcio notes that while the financial disbursement may prove disproportionate, Moreira has started his Milan tenure positively.
