Now that Week 5 of the 2026 NFL season is in the books, it’s time for an incredibly meaningful and serious exercise: NFL Power Rankings! What differentiates these rankings from all others is that they’re THE only truly accurate ones…

Brandon Lee Gowton ranks all 32 NFL teams following Week 5 of the 2026 season, keeping the Kansas City Chiefs at No. 1 and the San Francisco 49ers at No. 2. The Seattle Seahawks, Baltimore Ravens, and Buffalo Bills round out the top five, while the Miami Dolphins remain ranked at the very bottom in 32nd place.
The rankings highlight several key developments, including Baltimore's overtime win in Atlanta without Lamar Jackson and the Jacksonville Jaguars moving up to ninth after beating the Philadelphia Eagles in London. Gowton also criticizes the Dallas Cowboys, who dropped to 14th after an eight-point home defeat, and Washington Commanders head coach Dan Quinn for poor late-game clock management.
