The Story in 60 Seconds

Chicago White Sox prospects Caleb Bonemer and Colby Shelton each hit their first Arizona Fall League home runs on Tuesday for the Glendale Desert Dogs. Despite their home runs, Glendale suffered a 6-5 extra-inning defeat against the Salt River Rafters at Camelback Ranch. Bonemer homered in the first inning off Sean Sullivan, while Shelton added an opposite-field shot four innings later.

The contest marked the seventh time this year that the close friends and roommates homered in the same game, having previously done so six times during the regular season.
