Lifting the lid on the iconic year, Lewis Hamilton, Fernando Alonso, and Kimi Raikkonen took the title fight down to the wire.

The BBC is reportedly developing a new documentary focused on the dramatic and controversial 2007 Formula 1 World Championship. The project was revealed by SoyMotor co-director Antonio Lobato, who shared on Twitch that he was approached to take part in the production but declined the invitation. The project is understood to be in its early production stages, with no official announcement or release date yet confirmed by the broadcaster.
The 2007 campaign remains one of the most turbulent in motorsport history, defined by the fierce intra-team rivalry at McLaren between rookie Lewis Hamilton and two-time champion Fernando Alonso. Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen ultimately clinched the drivers' title by a single point, while McLaren was stripped of its Constructors' Championship points following the infamous 'Spygate' espionage scandal involving Ferrari technical data.
