Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford offered advice to Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels following a costly late-game clock management error against the New York Giants. Speaking on the Let's Go podcast, Stafford emphasized the necessity of learning quickly from mistakes and moving forward, noting that opponents will not feel sorry for him after mental lapses.
Daniels faced widespread criticism after being tackled in bounds with no timeouts remaining in overtime, which prevented Washington from attempting a potential game-winning field goal and resulted in a 27-27 tie. Dallas Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons also criticized Daniels on his show, suggesting the blunder could cost head coach Dan Quinn his job.
