The New York Giants have signed linebacker Malik Harrison to their active 53-man roster after he exhausted his three practice-squad elevations. Harrison, who previously played for the Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers, joined the Giants' practice squad before the season opener and played in the first three games before missing time due to injury.
The 28-year-old linebacker has played primarily on special teams for New York, logging 56 snaps, two tackles, and a fumble recovery. In a related roster transaction, the Giants also added veteran outside linebacker Dawuane Smoot to their practice squad to bolster defensive depth.
