The defender hasn't traveled to Norway as the club tries to manage his workload.

Borussia Dortmund defender Nico Schlotterbeck has been left out of the squad for Wednesday's Champions League match against Bodo/Glimt due to workload management. Despite playing 90 minutes and scoring in Friday's draw with Werder Bremen after recovering from ligament damage, sporting director Lars Ricken confirmed the club is cautiously easing the center-back into action following multiple recent injury setbacks.
Schlotterbeck is expected to return for Dortmund's upcoming Bundesliga fixture against Union Berlin on Saturday. Meanwhile, manager Niko Kovac received squad boosts with the returns of defender Julian Ryerson and midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka, both of whom missed Friday's match due to injuries sustained on international duty.
