The Story in 60 Seconds

Ticket prices for Canelo Alvarez's upcoming WBC super middleweight title fight against Christian Mbilli in Riyadh on October 31 have gone on sale starting at an unexpectedly low $13.33, with top standard seats priced at $106.67. This stands in sharp contrast to Canelo's typical Las Vegas bouts, where entry fees often start at several hundred dollars.

The low pricing is particularly notable given that the event is estimated to cost around $100 million, backed by Canelo's multi-fight deal with Turki Alalshikh. The fight proceeds in Saudi Arabia with a confirmed 3:00 a.m. local start time, following a seven-week delay due to Canelo resolving family matters.
