Josh Dix has a chance to turn into the Oklahoma City Thunder's version of Sam Hauser.

Writer Jack Simone argues that the Oklahoma City Thunder can follow the Boston Celtics' developmental blueprint by turning Josh Dix into an elite three-point specialist similar to Sam Hauser. Dix, who is currently on a two-way contract with the Thunder, recently demonstrated his shooting potential by scoring 16 points and making four three-pointers in a preseason matchup against the Atlanta Hawks.
Simone notes that while Hauser was consistently an elite college shooter, Dix also displayed strong shooting at Iowa before a drop at Creighton. Although cracking Oklahoma City's rotation will be difficult, Simone suggests proper developmental patience could transform Dix into a vital perimeter asset.
