Bayern Munich face early season test in onerous Autumn fixture list

Bayern Munich face a demanding autumn schedule across three competitions before the November international break. Following a 3-3 UEFA Champions League draw against Viking Stavanger, Vincent Kompany's squad confronts a rigorous seven-match stretch. The run includes high-profile clashes against RB Leipzig, reigning Premier League champions Arsenal, current Bundesliga leaders Freiburg, and Borussia Dortmund in Der Klassiker.

The Bavarians also face a DFB Cup tie against 2. Bundesliga side Magdeburg before traveling to take on Atletico Madrid and Mainz. The official Bundesliga website highlights that Bayern have experienced recent domestic slip-ups, including draws with Augsburg and Schalke, leaving little margin for error during this pivotal month.
