The visitor concedes a huge first-innings lead, but not before batting long enough to save itself from a defeat; the second essay finishes at 62 for two as the game ends in a draw

Aditya Sarwate scored a resolute 95 to lead Kerala's lower-order fightback and deny Jharkhand an outright victory in their Ranji Trophy match. Resuming from their overnight total of 269 for six, Kerala posted 395 in their first innings. Jharkhand secured a 192-run first-innings lead behind four wickets each from spinners Utkarsh Singh and Manishi Singh, but Kerala held firm in their second innings to force a draw.
Sarwate formed a crucial 104-run partnership for the seventh wicket with Salman Nizar, who scored 43 runs. Batting again after conceding the lead, Kerala reached 62 for two before both captains agreed to an early finish. Jharkhand took three points from the match due to their first-innings advantage, while Kerala earned two points.
