While the Twins tumbled out of playoff contention over the last two months of the season, three of their former players are still in range of a title, a trophy, and a ring. So for fans looking for a team…
Writing for Twinkie Town, Matt Monitto highlights three former Minnesota Twins players competing in the League Championship Series: Griffin Jax, Trevor Megill, and Gary Sánchez. Monitto notes that with the Twins missing the postseason, fans can follow these three players as they pursue a championship ring with either the Tampa Bay Rays or Milwaukee Brewers.
Jax, traded to the Rays in 2025, has returned to bullpen duty during the postseason. Meanwhile, the Brewers roster features Megill, who earned an All-Star selection in 2025, alongside backup catcher Sánchez, who previously spent the 2022 campaign in Minnesota.
