Manchester United defender Lisandro Martínez publicly criticized the club's hierarchy following a 2-0 Champions League defeat against Atlético Madrid on Tuesday. Speaking to post-match broadcasters, including Amazon Prime and CBS, Martínez targeted technical director Jason Wilcox and the club's transfer approach, arguing that United cannot constantly change managers and demanding more investment in the squad.

Glendenning suggests Martínez may face disciplinary action, such as a substantial fine or exile from first-team training, amid speculation over his long-term future at Old Trafford.
