Zuby Ejiofor’s best preseason performance came at perfect time for Hawks

Zuby Ejiofor delivered a standout preseason performance to help the Atlanta Hawks secure a 113-110 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder. Coming off the bench behind starter Jock Landale, the rookie contributed 15 points, nine rebounds, and three assists in 23 minutes on the court. Ejiofor played a critical role in the fourth quarter to help head coach Quin Snyder's squad hold off a late push from Oklahoma City.

Writer Antwane Willis highlights the importance of Ejiofor's rebounding presence, noting that his five offensive boards address an area where Atlanta previously struggled. With frontcourt teammate Henri Veesaar sidelined due to a torn ACL suffered in September, Willis argues that Snyder should start Ejiofor in Atlanta's final preseason game against the Dallas Mavericks ahead of the regular-season opener against Houston.
