Efforts in early wins for Michigan State have Romani up four spots to No. 5, while Caleb Malhotra and Braeden Cootes remain top two

Vancouver Canucks prospect Anthony Romani made significant gains in the weekly prospect power rankings after an impressive showing for Michigan State. The 2024 sixth-round draft pick scored a short-handed goal in Sunday's 5-1 win over Northern Michigan after tallying two goals and an assist on Friday.
Michigan State head coach Adam Nightingale highlighted Romani's improved skating and foot speed, noting substantial progress since his freshman campaign. The 21-year-old sophomore forward opted to continue developing in the NCAA rather than turning professional, with Vancouver retaining his NHL draft rights through June 2028.
