Liam Paro booking another defense puts more distance between him and Ryan Garcia, though Garcia’s alternative choices present a far bigger hurdle. Matchups with Teofimo Liam Paro Faces Long Wait For Ryan Garcia @ Boxing News 24
Boxing News 24 reports that Liam Paro faces a lengthy wait for a potential matchup against Ryan Garcia, despite holding a world title belt. Garcia has more lucrative options on the horizon, including potential high-profile bouts with Devin Haney or Teofimo Lopez that carry significantly higher commercial appeal in the United States.
Boxing News 24 argues that Paro presents an unfavorable risk-to-reward ratio for Garcia due to his awkward southpaw style and smaller financial draw. Consequently, the outlet notes that Paro's decision to book another title defense is the right strategic move to remain active rather than waiting on Garcia.
