Matthew Breetzke recalled after recent ODI ton against Australia, while Tristan Stubbs has been dropped and Kyle Verryenne stripped of the gloves

Matthew Breetzke has been recalled to South Africa's 17-player squad ahead of the second Test against Australia in Gqeberha. The shakeup comes following the Proteas' 214-run defeat in the series opener, with Tristan Stubbs dropped and Kyle Verreynne stripped of wicketkeeping duties in favor of Ryan Rickelton.
Breetzke and uncapped batter Marques Ackerman are in contention to feature at St George's Park. South Africa also hopes fast bowler Kagiso Rabada can return from a hamstring injury, while Anrich Nortje faces fitness doubts following a short turnaround.
