I am working with doctors and experts to determine how to fully regain my health (as soon as possible). Honestly, I feel better every day.
Golden State Warriors forward Kristaps Porzingis will remain out indefinitely as he deals with an unidentified private health issue. Porzingis informed Warriors general manager Mike Dunleavy that he would not join the team for preseason preparations. The Latvian player stated on social media that he is working closely with doctors and medical experts to fully regain his health and noted he feels better each day.
Porzingis also addressed online speculation regarding his condition, directly denying false rumors that he has HIV or AIDS. The ongoing health complications trace back to an upper respiratory tract virus contracted two seasons ago, which severely limited him to just 34 appearances split between the Atlanta Hawks and Golden State last season.
