Manchester United are targeting Benfica right-back Daniel Banjaqui as a potential signing, with several top clubs interested in the player.

Manchester United are reportedly competing with Barcelona, Inter Milan, and Newcastle United to sign Benfica right-back Daniel Banjaqui. The Red Devils are exploring options to provide competition for Diogo Dalot amid a difficult start to the season under manager Michael Carrick. All four clubs have reportedly gathered information regarding the 18-year-old Portugal Under-21 international ahead of a potential permanent move.
Benfica are reportedly open to selling Banjaqui for a fee between €35 million and €40 million, despite an €80 million release clause and a contract running until 2031. However, The Peoples Person notes that Benfica's valuation for a relatively unproven player could prove to be a dealbreaker for Manchester United.
