Bleacher Report proposed the New York Giants select A'Mauri Washington in the 2027 NFL Draft as a long-term Dexter Lawrence replacement.

Bleacher Report's Brent Sobleski has suggested that the New York Giants consider selecting Oregon defensive tackle A'Mauri Washington in the 2027 NFL Draft. With the Giants sitting at 3-1-1 under John Harbaugh, writer Jake Elman explores whether targeting Washington as a run-stopper and potential Dexter Lawrence replacement makes sense for general manager Joe Schoen.
While Washington excels at disrupting passing lanes with 13 pass breakups since 2024, Elman notes concerns regarding his lack of traditional sack and tackle-for-loss production. Elman also highlights Iowa interior offensive lineman Kade Pieper and Mississippi cornerback Kelley Jones as other potential draft targets mentioned by Sobleski.
