It's still unclear what exactly Porziņģis is dealing with, a week away from Golden State's regular-season opener.
The Golden State Warriors announced on Wednesday that center Kristaps Porziņģis will remain out indefinitely due to an ongoing health-related matter. While Porziņģis stated that he is getting better and better, the team confirmed he will miss the beginning of the 2026-27 NBA regular season.
Porziņģis previously missed Golden State's training camp and all five preseason games while seeking specialized medical care. The 31-year-old big man publicly addressed rumors concerning his condition, while Warriors officials noted he will remain around the team during his indefinite recovery process.
