The SA spearhead hit top gear three days out from the second Test, but Australia's star allrounder looks a more distant proposition

South African fast bowler Kagiso Rabada appears ready to return from a hamstring injury for the second Test in Gqeberha after bowling at full pace in training. Meanwhile, Australian allrounder Cameron Green remains unlikely to feature until the third Test in Cape Town as he continues his recovery from an abdominal injury.
Australian assistant coach Matthew Wade confirmed Green is progressing but more likely targeting the Cape Town fixture. Wade also noted that wicketkeeper-batter Josh Inglis is pushing for selection despite a fractured index finger, with Australia leading the series after a 214-run victory in the opening Test.
