Bam Adebayo has another prominent hater. NBA analyst Stan Van Gundy appeared this week on The Ringer’s “The Zach Lowe Show.” During the episode, the conversation turned to the 2026-27 season outlook for the Miami Heat.
Former Miami Heat head coach Stan Van Gundy criticized star big man Bam Adebayo during an appearance on The Ringer's "The Zach Lowe Show." Discussing Miami's outlook for the 2026-27 season, Van Gundy stated that he believes Adebayo is a little overrated, particularly on the offensive end of the floor.
Van Gundy expressed broader doubts regarding the Heat, saying he would be surprised if they finished as a top-six seed in the Eastern Conference. He also voiced concerns regarding Davion Mitchell's status as a full-time starting point guard and noted health concerns for Giannis Antetokounmpo.
