The England international is fit again but may have to wait for his chance despite calls for him to start from fans

Newcastle United captain Dan Burn has spoken candidly about the team's form following a 4-1 defeat at Coventry City, while assessing his chances of regaining a starting role under manager Matthias Jaissle. Burn, who recently returned from an ankle injury, acknowledged the frustration of travelling supporters and conceded he faces tough competition from starting center-backs Sven Botman and Malick Thiaw.
Jaissle stated that Burn's return to the starting lineup is being carefully managed based on medical data, noting it is likely too soon for him to start against Aston Villa. Fellow returnee Joelinton is further ahead in his reintegration process, as the club focuses on bouncing back in their upcoming fixture.
