The Seattle Seahawks’ form has declined significantly this season, most recently tasting defeat at the hands of the Denver Broncos. Seattle went 14-3 during the regular 2025/26 season before going on to win the Super Bowl.
Commentator Jason Whitlock expressed shock after the Denver Broncos secured a 17-14 victory over the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday. Seattle entered the matchup as reigning Super Bowl champions but suffered their third loss of the season, defying Whitlock's expectation that the Seahawks would dominate the contest.
The defeat dropped the Seahawks to a 3-3 record, matching their total regular-season losses from the entire previous campaign. Despite Sam Darnold, Emanuel Wilson, and Jaxon Smith-Njigba leading the game in passing, rushing, and receiving yards respectively, Seattle fell short ahead of an upcoming clash against the undefeated Kansas City Chiefs.
