Red Bull boss Laurent Mekies is adamant that despite the team having no further substantial upgrades to come this season, the Milton Keynes-based squad will not stop trying to improve.

Red Bull team principal Laurent Mekies has confirmed the team will introduce no further major upgrades to the RB22 this Formula 1 season. The Milton Keynes squad is shifting its full development focus toward 2027 after achieving its main goal of winning races in 2026, with Max Verstappen securing victories in Sepang and Singapore.
Despite halting major developments, Mekies warned rivals that the team will continue pushing hard to maximize learning across the remaining races. Mekies, whose contract was recently extended through 2031, also praised chassis lead Pierre Waché and Red Bull-Ford power unit chief Ben Hodgkinson for their contributions to the team's winning form.
