New England Patriots wide receiver A.J. Brown has returned to practice after spending four weeks on injured reserve with a high ankle sprain. Offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels stated that Brown's return brings fresh juice to the offense, though Brown remains limited in practice and his status for Sunday's game against the New York Jets is uncertain.
Brown noted that his playing status remains up in the air and will ultimately be head coach Mike Vrabel's decision. McDaniels highlighted that having a primary receiving threat back will open up opportunities for quarterback Drake Maye and the rest of the passing unit.
