The New York Islanders will look to build on Tuesday night’s 3-2 victory over Vancouver when they visit the Ottawa Senators on Thursday night, with Pete DeBoer

The New York Islanders are adjusting their lineup ahead of Thursday night's game against the Ottawa Senators, following a 3-2 victory over Vancouver. Coach Pete DeBoer will keep the trio of Matias Maccelli, Bo Horvat, and Kyle Palmieri intact after their strong performance together. Maccelli carries a four-game point streak into the contest, while Horvat has recorded seven points across his first six games.
On defense, Matt Kessel remains in the lineup as Alexander Romanov stays sidelined long-term. Goaltender Semyon Varlamov will start in net, giving Ilya Sorokin rest. Ottawa enters the game with Linus Ullmark unbeaten in five starts, while William Eklund remains out due to an ankle injury.
