Steven Gerrard breaks his silence of the prospect of a retrospective Premier League title for Liverpool's 2013/14 campaign

Former Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard stated he would not accept a retrospectively awarded Premier League winners' medal if Manchester City are stripped of titles following financial charges. Gerrard shared his perspective on The Overlap Daily, addressing the outcome of City being found guilty by an independent commission of artificially inflating commercial revenue between 2009 and 2018.
Gerrard explained that he has accepted never winning the league title during his playing career and expressed respect for Manchester City players. However, he argued that if the club's ownership is ultimately found guilty, they stole memories from rivals and should face appropriate historical punishments.
