The Jacksonville Jaguars are being pitched to trade wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. to the San Francisco 49ers in return for a high draft pick.

Bleacher Report's Kristopher Knox proposed a trade pitch sending Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. to the San Francisco 49ers. Black and Teal's Carlos Sanchez endorsed the proposal, noting that an injury-depleted 49ers receiving corps could significantly benefit from acquiring Thomas. The potential framework is modeled after the Arizona Cardinals trading Marvin Harrison Jr. to the Houston Texans for draft picks.
Sanchez argues Jacksonville should consider moving Thomas for a 2027 second-round pick due to his recent inconsistency and drops. He notes that dealing Thomas would grant rookie Josh Cameron an expanded offensive role, while San Francisco head coach Kyle Shanahan could revitalize Thomas's career.
