It's being billed as an area for ‘all to enjoy’

Manchester United has received planning approval from Trafford council to build a new matchday fan zone at Old Trafford. The fenced-off space will be situated on current disabled parking next to the Stretford End and will accommodate up to 1,300 supporters. The area is set to feature two bars, a stage, a retail kiosk, three food trucks, and a stretch tent with seating.
The approval is granted on a temporary five-year basis, requiring the site to be restored afterward. In response to resident concerns regarding noise and litter, the council restricted louder live music to a maximum of two hours on weekends and bank holidays between 11 a.m. and 8:30 p.m.
