UFC CEO Dana White has confirmed that the promotion has no backup plan and will proceed with UFC 333 in Abu Dhabi despite escalating regional violence. The event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at the Etihad Arena in the United Arab Emirates. When questioned about the rising conflict, White confirmed that fighters and staff will travel as planned.
The decision comes amid heightened regional tensions and recent missile and drone attacks in neighboring Saudi Arabia. Although the United States Department of State placed the United Arab Emirates under a Level 3 travel advisory, White reaffirmed that the company will visit the area multiple times for UFC, Power Slap, and WWE events.
