The injury exit of Manu Koné in the 17th minute during the Champions League match between AS Rome and Real

AS Roma manager Gian Piero Gasperini has confirmed midfielder Manu Koné suffered a first-degree thigh injury during a Champions League match against Real Madrid. Koné was substituted in the 17th minute of Roma's 3-4 defeat, and an MRI confirmed the muscle lesion that will keep him sidelined for several weeks.
Gasperini stated that the injury is not particularly serious but noted that the player will require time to recover. The club hopes to have Koné reinstated in the squad against Sassuolo before the upcoming international break.
