Jake Paul has faced widespread backlash from fans after video footage circulated showing him boxing around a heavy bag with a large snake wrapped around the top chain. In the 40-second clip shared on social media, Paul threw punches and jabs around the animal, prompting viewers to label the stunt as animal abuse and criticize the judgment of his training methods.

Paul has remained out of competition since suffering a sixth-round knockout loss and a broken jaw against Anthony Joshua at the Kaseya Center in Miami on December 19, 2025.
