There was plenty of news about the Philadelphia Eagles after the rough week entering the Carolina Panthers Week 6 showdown on the calendar.

The Philadelphia Eagles are dealing with major roster developments ahead of their Week 6 game against the Carolina Panthers, primarily regarding quarterback Jalen Hurts being ruled out indefinitely with a blood clot. In response, Philadelphia signed quarterback Joe Milton off the Dallas Cowboys practice squad. Meanwhile, analyst Michael Robinson faced criticism from writer Anthony Miller for suggesting on NFL Network that Hurts was pulling himself out of the season to avoid blame.
Along with Hurts, the Eagles ruled out five other players, including running back Will Shipley, who was placed on injured reserve with a foot injury, and Saquon Barkley. Five additional players were listed as questionable for the contest. With multiple injuries impacting the running back room, Philadelphia is expected to rely on Dameon Pierce and Carson Steele against Carolina.
