The Thunder trimmed their roster Friday, waiving guards Zhaire Smith and Anthony Pritchard along with forward Andrew Holifield, the team announced. All three are expected to join the Oklahoma City Blue, so their time with the organization likely isn’t over.
The Oklahoma City Thunder announced on Friday that they have waived guards Zhaire Smith and Anthony Pritchard alongside forward Andrew Holifield. All three players are expected to join the franchise's G League affiliate, the Oklahoma City Blue, to continue their development.
The trio held Exhibit 10 contracts, making them eligible for bonuses of $91,000 each if they spend 60 days with the Blue. These roster reductions leave Oklahoma City with 18 players under contract ahead of the regular season, while camp invitee Christoph Tilly awaits a final roster decision.
