Minnesota Vikings legend Adrian Peterson labeled Atlanta Falcons standout Bijan Robinson as the best running back in the NFL right now. Speaking with Jordan Schultz, Peterson ranked Robinson first in his top-five list ahead of Jonathan Taylor, Kenneth Walker, Derrick Henry, and Jahmyr Gibbs. Peterson highlighted Robinson's vision, cutting ability, and explosiveness, adding that Robinson possesses potential to contend for the league's MVP award.
Robinson has substantiated the praise through five games, leading the NFL with 580 rushing yards and four touchdowns alongside 152 receiving yards. Atlanta previously signed Robinson to a three-year extension worth up to $75 million with $51 million guaranteed in August, cementing him as one of the league's highest-paid backs.
