Three blueliners score to tie and defeat the Maple Leafs without Dahlin in the lineup

The Buffalo Sabres overcame a late two-goal deficit to defeat the Toronto Maple Leafs 5-4 in overtime on Thursday night. Trailing 4-2, Buffalo scored twice in the final 10 minutes of regulation before defenseman Owen Power secured the comeback victory with his second overtime game-winner of the season.
Playing without injured captain Rasmus Dahlin, the Sabres received a Gordie Howe hat trick from Jack Quinn to aid the late push. Toronto had initially taken control behind a hat trick from Kirill Marchenko, but Maple Leafs forward John Tavares exited early with an injury and head coach Jim Hiller drew criticism for benching rookie Gavin McKenna.
