The former Rangers and Everton front man has been out of the game since leaving Inverness Caledonian Thistle in 2004

Duncan Ferguson is set to make a return to football management after being chosen by Glentoran to take over on a permanent basis. The former Rangers striker replaces Declan Devine, who was dismissed last month, taking over duties from interim manager Paddy McCourt.
Ferguson had been out of work since being dismissed by Inverness Caledonian Thistle in 2024 following the club entering administration. His previous managerial experience includes a spell at Forest Green Rovers along with two caretaker stints at Everton, where he also worked as an assistant coach.
