The third-year quarterback joins Philadelphia from the Cowboys' practice squad.

The Philadelphia Eagles announced on Friday that they have signed quarterback Joe Milton from the Dallas Cowboys' practice squad. The third-year dual-threat passer joins Philadelphia after spending the early part of the 2026 season on Dallas's practice squad following final roster cuts in August.
Milton was originally selected by the New England Patriots in the sixth round of the 2024 NFL Draft before being traded to the Cowboys to back up Dak Prescott in 2025. Over his collegiate career at Michigan and Tennessee, Milton passed for 4,303 yards and totaled 31 overall touchdowns.
