Kansas City's top receiver Rashee Rice will miss Sunday's game against the Chargers with a right hamstring injury.

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice has been ruled out of Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Chargers due to a right hamstring injury. Rice sustained the injury during Week 4 against the Las Vegas Raiders and missed all three team practices during the week. Head coach Andy Reid indicated that Rice could potentially return for next week's game against the Seattle Seahawks.
Rice's absence further impacts Kansas City's receiving corps, which also lost Tyquan Thornton to injured reserve with a dislocated ankle. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes will rely more heavily on tight end Travis Kelce, wide receiver Xavier Worthy, and depth receivers Cyrus Allen and Jalen Royals. Additionally, left tackle Josh Simmons returned to practice drills this week but remains sidelined for Sunday.
