Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs will reportedly be removed from the NFL's Commissioner Exempt list on Monday and is expected to be eligible to play in Week 7. The league's investigation remains ongoing, allowing the NFL to impose further discipline if deemed warranted. Jacobs will miss Sunday's game against the Dallas Cowboys before potentially returning against the Detroit Lions on October 25.
Jacobs was originally placed on the exempt list on August 30 following misdemeanor battery and property damage charges. On September 10, he pleaded no contest to the charges, agreeing to counseling, restitution, and a fine. Jacobs has missed five games this season, during which Green Bay has compiled a 3-2 record.
