Concerns mount in St. Paul as Minnesota’s star winger remains sidelined following a late-game collision, while coaching staff manages critical roster absences ahead of Hockey Fights Cancer night.

Kirill Kaprizov and Quinn Hughes were both absent from the ice during the Minnesota Wild's practice on Saturday. Kaprizov's absence follows a collision with goaltender Joel Hofer late in Thursday's game, after which he played on a power play before sitting out the final three minutes. The practice took place during the team's Rink Side Rally ahead of Sunday's Hockey Fights Cancer night.
Wild head coach John Hynes stated after Thursday's game that Kaprizov was fine, indicating his practice absence was likely for maintenance. Marcus Foligno filled in on the top line alongside Joel Eriksson Ek and Matt Boldy, while Nick Foligno participated in a team photo before departing.
