The Pittsburgh Steelers placed Roman Wilson on the injured reserve list, their second key receiver lost to injury in as many weeks.

The Pittsburgh Steelers have placed wide receiver Roman Wilson on injured reserve due to a finger injury sustained in their Week 5 win against the Indianapolis Colts. Wilson, who has recorded two touchdown catches this season, will be sidelined for at least four weeks. His absence marks the second consecutive week Pittsburgh has lost a key wide receiver to injured reserve, following Michael Pittman Jr.'s placement on the list with a foot injury.
To address their depleted receiving corps ahead of Sunday's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Steelers elevated wideouts Brandon Smith and Brandon Johnson from the practice squad. With Ben Skowronek ruled out and tight end Pat Freiermuth listed as questionable with a calf injury, Pittsburgh will rely on depth, though top receiver DK Metcalf is cleared to play after overcoming an illness.
