Rangers blew their opportunity to leapfrog Celtic at the top of the William Hill Premiership when they were held to a draw by Dundee at Dens Park tonight.
Rangers missed the chance to go top of the Scottish Premiership after playing out a 2-2 draw with Dundee at Dens Park. Bradley Fink gave the hosts the lead before Badredine Bouanani equalized for Rangers before halftime. Nicolas Raskin later scored from long range to put Derek McInnes's side ahead, but Callum Jones capitalized on a defensive error from Dan Neil to secure a point for Dundee.
The result snapped an eight-game winning streak for Rangers, who were left frustrated by costly defensive mistakes. Dundee manager Steven Pressley named an unchanged side that had previously tested Rangers through headers from Ryan Astley and Ash Hay. Despite late attacking substitutions by McInnes, including introducing Kevin Kelsy, Rangers could not find a winning goal.
