New York Jets safety Minkah Fitzpatrick claims he received a fine from the NFL following last Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns. The league allegedly fined him after a hit that knocked out Browns wide receiver KC Concepcion and caused a concussion, leaving the receiver sidelined for most of the contest.
Fitzpatrick announced that he plans to appeal the NFL fine but declined to disclose the specific financial amount. Concepcion returned to practice on Wednesday, though he remained in concussion protocol following a limited session on Thursday ahead of Cleveland's upcoming game against the Ravens.
