The Houston Rockets have waived wing Bryce Harris, forward Cameron Matthews, and guard Caleb McConnell, according to NBA.com's official transaction log. All three players were signed to Exhibit 10 contracts and are expected to join Houston's G League affiliate, the Rio Grande Valley Vipers, where they can each earn bonuses of up to $91,000.
Following the cuts, the Rockets carry 18 players under contract and must make additional roster moves ahead of Monday's regular season deadline. Because Houston sits just $14,000 below the luxury tax line, the team is expected to leave its 15th standard roster spot open to avoid entering tax territory.
